Wnt5b Antibodies, cDNA Clones Research Reagents

WNT5B (Wnt Family Member 5B) is a protein coding gene located on human chromosome 12p13.33. The human WNT5B gene encodes a 40323 Da protein containing 359 amino acids. The WNT5B protein is broadly expressed in prostate, esophagus and other tissues. Among its related pathways are Regulation of activated PAK-2p34 by proteasome mediated degradation and Signaling by GPCR. WNT5B is related to signaling receptor binding and frizzled binding. WNT5A is an important paralog of WNT5B gene. WNT5B is associated with some diseases, including Fallopian Tube Serous Adenocarcinoma and Colorectal Cancer.

    Wnt5b 分子背景

Wnt5b, or Wnt family member 5B, is a member of the same family of proteins as Wnt5a, the overexpression of which is associated with cancer aggressiveness. Wnt5b is involved in the migration ability of human oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) cells through active Cdc42 and RhoA. The Wnt signaling is mediated by Wnt proteins that orchestrate and influence a myriad of cellular processes, such as cell proliferation, differentiation, tumorigenesis, apoptosis, and participation in immune defense during microbe infection.
