【1】The IP KIT contains anti-FAM3C magnetic Beads (2 mg/mL) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4) with sodium azide (0.1%).

【2】Using NP-40 cell lysate buffer in the kit is required,otherwise,the magnetic beads may be precipitated.

【3】Shipping: Magnetic Beads kits are shipped at ambient temperature in which magnetic beads are provided in liquid buffer.

The Anti-FAM3C magnetic Beads, conjugated with Anti-FAM3C antibody, are used for immuneprecipitation (IP) of FAM3C proteins which expressed in vitro expression systems. For IP, the beads are added to a sample containing FAM3C proteins to form a bead-protein complex. The complex is removed from the solution manually using a magnetic separator. The bound FAM3C proteins are dissociated from the magnetic beads using an elution buffer.

FAM3C 背景信息

FAM3C, also known as ILEI, is a member of theFAM3 family. It can be detected in resent in most secretory epithelia. FAM3C may be involved in retinal laminar formation. It promotes epithelial to mesenchymal transition. A change in expression of FAM3C has been noted in pancreatic cancer-derived cells. ILEI is overexpressed and/or altered in intracellular localization in multiple human tumors, an event strongly correlated to invasion/EMT, metastasis formation, and survival in human colon and breast cancer.
