【1】The IP KIT contains anti-PCYT1A magnetic Beads (2 mg/mL) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4) with sodium azide (0.1%).

【2】Using NP-40 cell lysate buffer in the kit is required,otherwise,the magnetic beads may be precipitated.

【3】Shipping: Magnetic Beads kits are shipped at ambient temperature in which magnetic beads are provided in liquid buffer.

The Anti-PCYT1A magnetic Beads, conjugated with Anti-PCYT1A antibody, are used for immuneprecipitation (IP) of PCYT1A proteins which expressed in vitro expression systems. For IP, the beads are added to a sample containing PCYT1A proteins to form a bead-protein complex. The complex is removed from the solution manually using a magnetic separator. The bound PCYT1A proteins are dissociated from the magnetic beads using an elution buffer.

PCYT1A 背景信息

PCYT1A, the rate-limiting enzyme of Phosphatidylcholine (PC) synthesis, is intranuclear and re-locates to the nuclear membrane in response to the need for membrane PL synthesis in yeast, fly, and mammalian cells. PCYT1A is associated with cancer progression. PCYT1A suppresses proliferation and migration by inhibiting the mTORC1 signaling pathway in lung adenocarcinoma. PCYT1A shows as a potential promising biomarker in lung adenocarcinoma. Mutations in the PCYT1A gene have been recently linked to two different phenotypes: one characterized by spondylometaphyseal dysplasia and cone-rod dystrophy (SMD-CRD) and the other by congenital lipodystrophy, severe fatty liver disease, and reduced HDL cholesterol without any retinal or skeletal involvement.
