【1】The IP KIT contains anti-PGAM1 magnetic Beads (2 mg/mL) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4) with sodium azide (0.1%).

【2】Using NP-40 cell lysate buffer in the kit is required,otherwise,the magnetic beads may be precipitated.

【3】Shipping: Magnetic Beads kits are shipped at ambient temperature in which magnetic beads are provided in liquid buffer.

The Anti-PGAM1 magnetic Beads, conjugated with Anti-PGAM1 antibody, are used for immuneprecipitation (IP) of PGAM1 proteins which expressed in vitro expression systems. For IP, the beads are added to a sample containing PGAM1 proteins to form a bead-protein complex. The complex is removed from the solution manually using a magnetic separator. The bound PGAM1 proteins are dissociated from the magnetic beads using an elution buffer.

PGAM1 背景信息

Phosphoglycerate mutase 1 (PGAM1) is a glycolytic enzyme that coordinates glycolysis and biosynthesis to promote cancer growth via its metabolic activity. PGAM1 plays a pivotal role in cancer metabolism and tumor progression via its metabolic activity and interaction with other proteins like α-smooth muscle actin (ACTA2). Allosteric regulation is considered to be an innovative strategy to discover a highly selective and potent inhibitor targeting PGAM1. PGAM1 is upregulated in many cancer types and involved in cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and apoptosis. PGAM1 may play an important role in prostate cancer progression and aggressiveness, and that it might be a valuable marker of poor prognosis and a potential therapeutic target for prostate cancer.
